Namaste and warm welcome to our vibrant city! As the Mayor of Bhavnagar, it is my privilege to share with you the city's history, the myriad of enchanting places to visit, and the exciting recent development projects that are shaping our future.

Nestled on the shores of the Arabian Sea, Bhavnagar boasts a history that spans centuries. Founded in 1723 by the illustrious Bhavsinhji Gohil, our city has witnessed the rise and fall of kingdoms, the echoes of valiant tales, and the triumph of community spirit.

Magnificent buildings and monuments like Ganga Deri, Town Hall, Barton Library, Darbari Kothar, Takhteshwar Temple are some of the landmarks of this historical city. It is our duty to make every effort to preserve this treasure for our posterity.

Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation has recently completed prestigious projects like Akwada Lake Development, Ganga Jaliya Talav development, 3 major urban community health centers, six lane roads, construction of 27 MLD water filtration plant at Chitra, 20 MLD water filtration plant at Tarsamiya and 5 MLD water filtration plant at Nari.

As we embark on this journey of progress, I extend my gratitude to our hardworking citizens for their constant support and patience during the development process. Bhavnagar's success is a testament to your unwavering commitment to making our city a truly remarkable place to live.
