•Approve/reject applications of provident fund loans of Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation employees and dispose of them as per rules.
• Overall functioning of the department including giving/calling for legal opinions sought from different departments and cases pending before the reputed court.
• In case of return of cheques, action should be taken in accordance with the provisions of the Negotiable Instruments Act through the counsel of the Municipal Panel.
• To take action as per rules regarding departmental inquiry of employees/officers assigned by the Department of Institutions.
